Texas Leftist Threatens to Bomb Erika Kirk at TPUSA Event — Now He's Got a Felony and a $120K Bond

A 26-year-old San Antonio radical named Jacob Wenske has been arrested and slapped with a pair of third-degree felony charges after allegedly threatening to bomb the upcoming Turning Point USA Women's Leadership Summit and kill TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk. Because apparently nothing says "tolerance" like promising mass carnage against Christian women gathering for a conference.

Brave guy, threatening a room full of 2,500 women from behind a keyboard. Real profile in courage, that one.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by KSAT-TV, the whole thing started when a local San Antonio newspaper published a Facebook post promoting the TPUSA Women's Leadership Summit, scheduled for June 5–7 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk. Wenske allegedly replied to the post with the charming comment: "I know exactly where to bomb." In a separate post in the same thread, he added: "I can't wait to be the valet for her escort" — an apparent reference to Erika Kirk, who is slated to be a featured keynote speaker at the event.

But Wenske wasn't done. An email sent back in January 2026 from an account registered to Wenske went full unhinged: "Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event." That's not political disagreement. That's a terroristic threat. Which is exactly what he's been charged with.

The San Antonio Police Department and the FBI moved quickly, arresting Wenske on May 28, 2026. He now faces third-degree felony charges of making a terroristic threat involving public fear of serious bodily injury or public disruption. Under Texas penal code, a conviction carries 2 to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. His bond has been set at $120,000.

Good luck posting bail on that one, champ.

Now here's the part that makes this story hit differently. Erika Kirk didn't just wake up one day and decide to run Turning Point USA. She assumed leadership of TPUSA after the assassination of her husband and co-founder Charlie Kirk at a TPUSA event in Utah last year. She has faced multiple threats since taking the helm — including canceling a planned appearance at the University of Georgia back in April after organizers received what they described as "very serious threats." This woman has already endured the worst thing imaginable, and radical leftists are still lining up to threaten her life for the crime of organizing conservative women.

Let that sink in for a second. A widow who lost her husband to political violence is being targeted with bomb threats because she refuses to stop doing his work. And we're supposed to believe the left is the side of compassion and decency?

TPUSA spokesperson Matt Shupe made the organization's position crystal clear: "The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is always our top priority. All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures enforced by both private security and local police. We refuse to let threats silence us. We look forward to a successful and inspiring gathering June 5–7 in San Antonio for 2,500+ ladies attending the Women's Leadership Summit!"

That's the right response. You don't cancel. You don't cower. You show up with better security and a bigger crowd.

And let's talk about the media silence on this for a second, because you know it's coming. If a conservative had threatened to bomb a progressive women's conference, it would be the lead story on every cable network for a week. There'd be congressional hearings. The Southern Poverty Law Center would issue a 40-page report. But when a leftist threatens to massacre Christian women at a conservative event? Blaze News reports it. Fox News picks it up. And the rest of the mainstream media treats it like a local crime blotter item.

We see the pattern. We've always seen the pattern.

The good news is that Texas doesn't play around with this stuff. Wenske is sitting on a $120,000 bond staring down a potential decade behind bars. The FBI is involved. And 2,500 women are still going to show up in San Antonio on June 5 to prove that no amount of leftist intimidation can shut down a room full of conservative women who refuse to be afraid.

Jacob Wenske wanted to terrorize them. Instead, he gave them a rallying cry.
